Employee Justice Legal Group, PC is a fast-growing, mid-sized Plaintiff Employment law firm located in downtown Los Angeles dedicated to fighting for the rights of employees who have been wronged by their employer. We are seeking an after-hours Legal Intake Specialistfor immediate hire. Bilingual in English/Spanish, verbal and written, is required.
The Legal Intake Specialist is the first point of contact at the firm for potential clients.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and five (5) hours Saturdays and/or Sundays (scheduled per availability); opportunities for additional hours depending on need.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Answer all after-hours incoming calls to the office while providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct interviews with potential new clients with empathy and compassion.
- Screen and evaluate prospective client inquiries and phone calls to identify prospective cases.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of required information, while ensuring confidentiality.
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills, including typing proficiency and computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Legal Intake Specialist, Customer Service or similar role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and legal case management software.
