Journeyman Technicians perform numerous Maintenance & Diagnosis/Repair tasks throughout the day and have great earning opportunities with incentive pay for high production performance. Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately perform quality repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealership’s and factory standards.
- Perform and document vehicle diagnostics using the latest industry technologies.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality repair work was completed.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Stay up-to-date with all Ford STARS training necessary
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience as a technician in a professional repair shop.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license and a clean driving record.
- Own your own tools and tool box
- Current Ford “Stars” technical training certifications or ASE equivalents preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
