We're looking for a Legal Intake Specialist to join our firm! If you love interacting with and serving others, then this is the position for you. We are seeking someone who is outgoing, customer service orientated, and who can create relationships and a connection with potential new clients of the firm. The primary responsibility of the Legal Intake Specialist is to set up and manage the processes of onboarding new and prospective clients who are a good fit for the law firm.
Responsibilities
• Conduct basic intake questions by phone to determine whether potential clients' cases are within the firm's practice area
• Evaluate potential clients to determine whether they are a good fit for the firm
• Schedule initial consultation appointments with attorneys for qualified potential clients
• Onboard new clients by ensuring Engagement Agreements are signed and retainers are fully paid
• Follow up with potential clients who did not engage the firm at the initial consultation appointment to answer questions and obtain signed Engagement Agreements and retainer payments
• Enter and update potential client information into CRM/law firm systems
• Contact and foster relationships with law firms in other areas of specialty to grow referrals
• Contact and foster relationships with other professionals to build Team 100 referral sources for the firm
• Performing administrative support tasks as assigned
Qualifications
The following is required of the candidate:
• Customer service skills to make potential new clients feel welcome
• High-level listening skills to gain a thorough understanding of clients and their matters
• Strong written and oral communication skills to explain the next steps and effectively communicate with potential new clients
• Organizational skills to keep track of prospective clients' contact and case information
• Multitasking ability to move quickly from one inquiry to another
• Knowledge of CRMs and Microsoft Office
The following is preferred, but not required of the candidate:
• Basic understanding of various legal specialties, specifically Trusts & Estate, Business Law, and Tax Law
• Familiarity with the Lawmatics CRM
• Fluency in the Spanish language (oral, verbal, and written)
