Our asset recovery law firm is seeking a full-time (part-time also an option) legal assistant. This is an entry level position that could lead to advancement opportunities. Full time hours include flexible options to work a 4/10 hour workweek or traditional 5 day workweek. NO WEEKENDS! Our pay starts at $16 an hour with increases dependent on experience and productivity. Medical and dental insurance is provided.
Job responsibilities may include:
- Accepting inbound calls.
- Processing legal paperwork.
- Contact with employers regarding garnishments.
- Contact with debtors regarding lawsuits and resolving of accounts.
The ideal candidate has:
- The ability to understand big picture.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience with sales, collection or negotiation is helpful.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
