Legal Assistant/Paralegal

· Prepare and maintain and closed case files

· Update case files per priority (cases being worked on or will be worked on shortly)

· Calendar legal proceedings, deadlines, meetings and consultations

· Client billing invoices

· Build out discovery request/demand shells

· Build out discovery response shells

· Prepare form pleadings and judicial pleadings

· Look up codes and statutes

· Look up information on corporations and companies

· Analyze pleadings and client documents

· Answer and screen incoming calls

· Greet clients and visitors

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

Schedule:

• After school
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

Travel requirement:

• No travel

Ability to Relocate:

• Canoga Park, CA 91303: Relocate before starting work (Required)
