Multi-office litigation law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their Rockville office.
This office is fast paced, and you need to be able to change gears quickly.
The role is in the office everyday with free parking and a lovely building to work in with lots of amenities. Hours are 8:30 to 5:00 or 9:00 to 5:30.
Must be vaccinated.
You will assist attorneys with litigation, discovery, motions, briefs and pleadings; schedule and docket upcoming court cases; track and control document discovery; prepare exhibit cross-references; bate stamp, handle basic IT jobs; assist in maintaining the kitchen, supplies, conference rooms, greeting clients/guests, receiving packages/supplies; assist with office setups for new employees, large conference room setups for meetings, depositions, arbitrations, etc.
To be qualified, please have at least 2 years of college or a paralegal certificate along with 2 years of litigation legal experience. Strong MS Office skills are a must as well as familiarity with Relativity or any other document management software.
Salary is based on experience.
