Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Job Summary:

We are one of California's premier Personal Injury law firms. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and a solid understanding of legal procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings and briefs

- Ordering medical records

- Organize and maintain case files

- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings

- Prepare correspondence and draft legal documents

- File documents with the court and other relevant parties

- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings

- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions

- Prior experience with Personal Injury law is a plus

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and terminology

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
