JC Law, PLLC is looking for a Legal Assistant/Collector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, reviewing claims loading, making collections calls, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently once trained. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the legal and commercial collections industries.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain organized electronic files with detailed notes.
- Prepare collections correspondence.
- Handle incoming and outgoing collections calls.
- Take payments over the phone or through the firm's web payment portal.
- Update electronic files with accurate information in a timely manner.
- Assist with client communications to keep clients regularly informed.
- Participate in team meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
