The McKinley County District Attorney’s Office, Gallup, New Mexico is seeking qualified applicants for a Legal Assistant.
Applicants should show extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system. Job duties include, but not limited to data entry, using the State’s Case Management System (CMS), scanning documents, working with warrants and law enforcement reports, downloading videos, preparation of legal documents and correspondence, requesting discovery, answering phones, typing, copying, filing, assists with picking up and dropping off documents with law enforcement agencies. Incumbent must understand all aspects of WEB, CMS, Word Perfect, Excel, Outlook, and various other computer programs.
This position requires a High School diploma or GED, plus two (2) years of work experience in a related field.
Annual salary range is dependent on experience.
