We are seeking a pre-litigation Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. Excellent writing skills a must, will need to provide writing sample at interview.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare demand packages for insurance company.
- Assist with negotiations and settlement processes.
- Responsible for 50-60 files.
- Assist clients with property damage issues.
- Contact with clients at least once monthly to update case file.
- Will report to five attorneys
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant - two years is preferable
- Familiarity with personal injury cases is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Analytical skills are a must
