We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide support and assist with various tasks related to Kentucky personal injury cases.
Duties:
- Medical records/billing retrieval
- Lien requests (Medicare/Medicaid, Anthem, etc.)
- Basic legal documents preparation;
- Electronic filing (state and federal court)
- Assist attorneys with litigation scheduling and calendar management
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, experts, and court appearances
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring all necessary documents are included
Requirements:
- Previous experience working Kentucky automobile wreck cases
- Previous experience working in a law office in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with legal case management software
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Please note that all positions are paid based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Pikeville, KY 41501: Relocate before starting work (Required)
