Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience as a Legal Assistant, or relevant experience in a law firm
- Bachelor’s degree in legal studies or related field preferred; HS diploma required
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, transcription, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Remains professional, courteous, and successful in fast-paced or deadline driven situations
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented professional services environment
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines
- Demonstrates a willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and assist others, contributing to the overall success of the team
- Advanced skills in MS Office Products, including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Proficiency with Adobe, iManage and/or other document management systems
- Willingness to learn new technology or software programs
- Ability to type 60 or more wpm with a high degree of accuracy
