Although a general practice firm, Wenzloff & Fireman specializes in the representation of credit unions and financial institutions. We have represented and helped dozens of credit unions with their legal problems, including their foreclosures, collections, and creditor side bankruptcy work.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bay City, MI for a Legal Administrative Assistant at Wenzloff & Fireman P.C. The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the legal team, including but not limited to:
- Perform general office duties (answering phones, filing, photocopying, etc.)
- Draft, type, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Assist in the preparation of case materials and exhibits for trials and meetings
- Manage and organize client files and legal documents
- Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings
- Communicate with clients, court officials, and other attorneys
- Maintain calendars and track deadlines
- Assist with billing and bookkeeping tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working as a legal secretary or in a similar role
- Experience working as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Experience with the bankruptcy and/or federal courts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week

Experience:
