Responsibilities:
· Drafting and negotiating a wide range of transactional documents, including financial contracts, commercial agreements, and other general corporate contracts and communications.
· Responsible for retrieving and summarizing laws and regulations or specific legal procedures in specific areas related to the portfolio projects.
· Formulating summaries of legal memorandums, loan documents, share purchase agreements, and providing comprehensive legal support to investment and ad hoc projects.
· Ensuring that all portfolio projects are delivered on time, per assignment, within budget and without business disruption, and achieving the objectives set out in the project documentation.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor and above; major in law and related.
· Having a financial literacy background is a plus.
· 0-1 years of related work experience in law firms.
· Admission to the New York State Bar or Chinese judicial examination is a plus.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
· Good understanding of corporate governance.
· Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure while taking ownership and responsibility of projects.
· Agile communicator, commercially minded.
· Effectively manages and prioritizes multiple projects.
· Familiar with sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools.
· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges.
