We are seeking a self-motivated, professional Legal Assistant to assist the attorneys with the smooth functioning of the Department. This position includes supporting the day-to-day work of the legal team.

Who You Are:
We are seeking a self-motivated, professional Legal Assistant to assist the attorneys with the smooth functioning of the Department. This position includes supporting the day-to-day work of the legal team.
What You'll Do:
- Assist the legal team with administrative and communication items, issues, and tasks.
- Process Requests for Admission (RFAs) in a timely manner.
- Notify clients of all letters, hearings, etc.
- Obtain medicals relevant to each case.
- Update all client information as needed.
- Speak with clients when the Case Manager and Attorney are unavailable.
- Speak with clients regarding specific tasks, such as missing checks, balances, etc.
- Complete any assigned task that the legal team submits to you.
- Stay up to date on all related training.
- Heavy call volume.
- System quality checks to maintain clean and accurate data/info.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in the field (law clerk, law office admin assistant, etc.).
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Exposure to Workers Compensation/Disability claims a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Must be able to work independently along with firm support staff
- A Strong sense of urgency.
