Job Description

The position would be assisting approximately 3 attorneys in our Roseland, NJ office. Some of the major responsibilities of the position include:

• Finalizing reports, memos, answers, motions, discovery, and other court filings
• Preparing correspondences 
• Answering telephone calls, emails, and faxes
• Processing invoices
• Maintaining internal case files
• Serving discovery
• Daily intake of attorney mail
• Maintaining attorney calendars for court appearances, deadlines, and client meetings

The ability to work under a team structure is essential as the support staff is the foundation of the firm. Constant communications with other administrative staff, paralegals, and attorneys are key. A professional demeanor with clients is a must.

This position is full-time with a schedule of three (3) full days in-office and two (2) full days remote.

Applicants must include salary requirements to be fully considered. Compensation will be based on experience.

In addition, applicants must have at least:

• One full year of law office experience in New Jersey.
• Experience with court filing procedures in one or several of the following states: NJ, NY, PA, CT, MA
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and Microsoft Office  
• Familiarity with NetDocuments is a plus
