We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support a Personal Injury trial lawyer..
```Responsibilities include:
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Prepare and draft legal correspondence, memos, and pleadings
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in legal administrative procedures and terminology
- Knowledge of litigation processes and procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, OneNote, Dropbox or other document management systems is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Travel requirement:
- No travel
Ability to Relocate:
- Freehold, NJ 07728: Relocate before starting work (Required)
