SalaryWe are a small, close-knit, fast paced Personal Injury law firm looking for a self-starter, and motivated Legal Assistant. Duties will be to propound and respond to Discovery, Prepare and draft/proofread pleadings and other legal documents, Support and assist attorneys, Prepare cases for settlement demands, Order medical records/bills, Open new files and sign up clients, Assist in miscellaneous tasks.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
Clearly and effectively communicate with attorneys and clients
Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Have excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation and proofing skills Knowledge of legal terminology
Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion with limited guidance
College degree required
Must have 1-2 years of Personal Injury experience
