Legal Assistant

Regional law firm (MD, DC and VA) seeks an individual experienced in legal collections. Firm is located in downtown Rockville three blocks from Metro. Free parking.

Job qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Familiarity with legal collection software and data entry
• Strong phone, oral, and written communication skills
• Settlement negotiating experience
• Experience with drafting settlement agreement and payment plans
• Typing proficiency: 50 wpm
• Strong organizational skills
• Enthusiasm to work in a team environment
• Law firm and legal collections experience
• JST software (CollectMax) helpful
• FDCPA experience helpful
• Familiarity with using Accurint for skip-tracing and asset searching helpful

Business casual attire.
