The Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturer - Nursing Site Visitorsfrom which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
The position will serve as a site visitor for nurse practitioner students. Site visits will be done in person or by phone, and site visitors will be assigned no more than 6 students per semester. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule. The number of site visits will vary from 6 to a total of 12. Specialties include FNP, Adult/Gero and PMHNP program options.

The Helen and Arthur E Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs is a distinguished and innovative college providing excellence in education, scholarship, and practice in the health professions. The college currently serves ~1400 students (80% undergraduate and 20% graduate) through its programs in the Department of Nursing, the Department of Health Sciences, and the Department of Human Physiology and Nutrition.

Work Location: Typically, on-site; position may be partially remote, based on the semester-to-semester need of the department, as determined by the supervisor.
Remote work will be available for emergency events. This will be offered based on the emergency and allowance will come from leadership and the guidelines provided at the time of the emergency.
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
What We Offer:
Salary Range: Pay depends on number of site visits. Generally starting at $75 per phone visit, $150 per in person visit.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Advanced Practice License/Registration
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience as either a Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, or an Adult Gero Nurse Practitioner
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to move. Employee is occasionally required to have long periods of sitting, moderate bending, and fine motor skills. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
