Leasing &Compliance Specialist
The Leasing &Compliance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the leasing process and compliance with regulations for affordable housing buildings in the New York Metro Area. This position requires experience with LIHTC regulations and a strong understanding of affordable housing laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in affordable housing, with a focus on compliance & leasing. They will be responsible for ensuring accurate lease files, completing annual lease renewals, recertifications, renting vacant apartments, and completing compliance reports. Additionally, they will be responsible for responding to resident inquires on leases & recertifications.
The Leasing &Compliance Specialist must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail. They must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and be able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. They must also maintain a positive and professional demeanor while ensuring compliance with all affordable housing regulations.
