Our INTENT for hiring:
The Leasing Assistant is responsible for assisting the leasing team with high volume prospect calling and emailing. The Leasing Coordinator will support leasing activity by providing high-quality customer service to prospects and scheduling tours.
This position is a part of our Central Management team and will support the needs of multiple boutique properties in the DFW area.
A day IN the life:
- Follow up on prospective residents and market the community to telephone prospects. Convert phone calls to tours, property tours to leases, and the internet leads to tours and leases.
- Occasionally, show/tour apartment homes to prospective residents while following the proper procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure guest cards are complete, entered into the property management software, and completed for prospects.
- Participate in answering phones, taking messages, responding to email leads and inquiries, filing and entering work orders in property management software.
- Provide quality customer service and timely response to customer requests and complaints.
- Develop and maintain first-class customer service relationships with prospects and residents. When on grounds, physically inspects the community, picks up litter, and reports any maintenance needs to the Service Team.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties, corporate housing partner, and competitors.
- Assist General Manager and other team members in developing and implementing effective marketing goals to increase traffic and leads.
- Assists with resident functions and as directed by the General Manager and other team members.
- Occasional needs to utilize personal transportation to tour the apartment communities and surrounding neighborhood and visit the corporate office.
Qualities we are INTERESTED in:
- High School diploma, or general equivalent degree (GED)
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a customer service or sales related position
- Previous experience in residential property management is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Valid Driver's License
