Leasing Agent

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic field of property management and contribute to the growth of our company.

Duties:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing the features and benefits of available units
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, or in-person
- Collect and review rental applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete
- Verify applicant information, including employment, income, and rental history
- Assist with lease negotiations and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and documenting any damages
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, applications, leases, and other relevant documentation
- Collaborate with property management team to address tenant concerns or maintenance requests
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor offerings to effectively market available properties

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate or property management is a plus
- Proven experience in customer service or sales roles
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative procedures
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries with tact and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.02 - $21.70 per hour
