Job Description
- Partner with the leadership team and internal subject matter experts to identify learning and development needs across the organization.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define clear training objectives and performance goals and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive, engaging, and effective learning programs, workshops, and training materials that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Design supplemental training collateral such as job aids, infographics, and video tutorials.
- Analyze, update, and refine existing learning content as needed.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations to employees, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning experience.
- Utilize a variety of instructional design methodologies and tools to ensure content is relevant, learner-centered, and meets the needs of diverse audiences.
- Maintain, update and store curriculum and training materials in a central repository.
- Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through assessment tools, surveys, and post-training evaluations.
- Analyze training results and feedback to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
- Build strong relationships to understand specific department needs and tailor training solutions accordingly.
- Support organizational change initiatives by creating training programs that facilitate smooth transitions and skill adoption.
- Develop clear communication strategies to promote learning opportunities and drive engagement.
- Maintain a running list of training requests and partner with Human Resources Director to determine prioritization for requests.
- Maintain accurate records of training participation, progress, and completion, and generate reports to measure the impact of learning initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in learning and development, instructional design, and training facilitation.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools, multimedia software, and learning management systems.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to gather and interpret data to assess training effectiveness.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for learning and development.
- Certifications in instructional design, training facilitation, or related fields are a plus.
