Position Description:
Senior Learning Specialist - Site L&D
The Senior Specialist – Site L&D will design, develop, and support Learning and Development activities for technical, shopfloor GMP personnel associated with the manufacture, testing and release of products in support of the site’s learning strategy and Integrated Learning Plan.
This individual will partner with site and global stakeholders to implement and ensure adherence to learning processes/systems and drive innovative solutions to foster a culture of continuous learning. The Senior Specialist will also lead and manage training compliance and continuous improvement initiatives, and report to a site Learning Leader.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting Permanent Inspection Readiness and cGMP Compliance as it relates to Training/Learning & Development.
Establishing relationships with key stakeholders to understand the business goals/objectives and collaboratively defines appropriate learning strategies for the site.
Conducting learning needs assessments and/or job analyses with stakeholders to identify relevant learning plans and solutions.
Implementing learning strategy/plans for the site ensuring adherence to standards, including implementation of technical, site and local area training programs. Monitors progress with appropriate documentation and metrics and defines opportunities for continuous improvement.
Working collaboratively within the L&D organization and with stakeholders to implement, maintain and continuously improve standard learning processes (e.g. Job Skills Qualification, SOP Process, Annual GMP, Safety Requirements, New Employee Induction, etc.).
Coaching and qualifying trainers and classroom facilitators across the site to ensure optimal delivery of training programs.
Supporting Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Quality Compliance programs and regulatory audits as required.

Learning Analytics: With an understanding of the talent factors that drive performance, monitor business KPIs, talent metrics, and performance metrics and tell a story with data to influence and help the business make better strategic and tactical decisions and appreciate how learning initiatives are impacting business performance.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education Requirement:
HS/GED
Preferred Education:Post-secondary degree, certification, or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience facilitating / delivering learning solutions.
Regulated Medical and/or Biopharmaceutical industry experience
Training Compliance & Continuous Improvement methodologies (Six Sigma/LEAN, QbD, TQM, Agile, etc.)
Leadership and project management skills
Quality Management systems, cGMP, and regulatory inspections experience
Working knowledge and application of Adult Learning Principles and Evaluation Methodologies
