About the role
Our Training team is at the forefront of enabling our current and prospective customers to deliver and use our industry leading products and services. We are seeking an innovative Training Designer with an adult learning background to help us build and deliver on a strategy for our customer education and training. This is an end-to-end development role that will collaborate within the training team and customer focused stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the learning team, Product, Regulatory, Delivery to design customer centered product training to enable our customers to effectively use and leverage our Thentia Cloud software products.
- Collaborate with the in-house product team to translate the product features into training curriculum to meet training and educational strategic goals as they relate to newly developed product features, and as may be required from time to time to deliver training for stakeholders.
- Create purpose-built training materials for facilitated, self-directed or other training mediums.
- Collaborate on strategy and design and develop and maintain the library for on demand e-learning.
- Conduct training needs analysis to assess specific training needs of adult learners and customize training programs accordingly
- Stay current with industry trends and software updates to ensure training content remains relevant.
- Act as a system administrator for learning design systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the design of adult education programs and training.
- At least 2 years of experience in designing software education and enablement of enterprise grade software platforms, and / or end user training, and/or operational training.
- Undergraduate degree in an industry-related field, MEd, or similar education coupled with equivalent work experience, and ideally a certificate in adult education (CAE).
- Strong background in consulting and advisory services is preferred.
- Proficiency in modern office software suites, including Office 365, Google Workspace, and project tools such as ClickUp, and learning tools such as Docebo, Captivate, PowerPoint, Camtasia, o or AI tools such as Speechify or Lovo.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex legal concepts and process such as regulatory processes or workflow requirements and processes and translate these into educational requirements and workflows.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, highly resourceful, and self-directed, and project-oriented delivery mindset.
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills with expertise to deliver training to professional audiences.
