Job Description
Warehouse Leader will be responsible for KCPX Warehouse coordination including:
- Work safely including promoting a positive safety culture
- Coordinating material handlers responsibilities
- Training for individual roles/ responsibilities
- Communication with researchers and machine assets
- Hazardous waste monthly inventory
- Manage RMMS (inventory storage system) inventory/ quarterly communications
- Manage disposals
- Manage Sample area
- Manage long term off site storage at WSI
- Manage outbound / inbound shipments
- Track freight in the warehouse traceability document
- Invoicing for outbound shipments
- Sales orders creation
- Delivery note creation
- Communication with recycling vendors
- Hospital monthly inventory
- Warehouse supply inventory
- Loading and Unloading trailers
- General understanding of RMMS
- Inventory of common stock
- Stocking shipping supplies
- Communication with researchers/machine assets
- Preparing shipments for outbound
- PO# receipts SAP
- Understanding of facility recycling program
- Loading/unloading trailers
- Baler support
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, spend a significant amount of time on feet and have the ability to sit, kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Strong communication, leadership skills, and demonstrated ability to take initiative while working effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Position requires learning to drive industrial tractors/forklift/clamp
Preferred:
• Previous or current experience with industrial tractors or forklift operations.
• Material Handling/warehouse, converting manufacturing skills or related experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability, including troubleshooting, problem identification, idea generation and resolution.
