The Lead Tablet Press Operator is responsible for all activities related to the compression of product as per formula instructions and assisting the supervisor on a daily basis.
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced
- Manages the department in the absence of the supervisor and/or manager
- Operates Tablet Press machinery independently as well as within a team environment
- Matches all labels with batch records
- Documents Tablet Press process information as per SOP
- Loads and unloads Tablet Press machine
- Monitors Tablet Press operation periodically and report any conditions to the manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Military experience a plus
- Prior machine operator experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting required
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
