JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Press Brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality metal components.
- Set up and operate Press Brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job
- Load and unload materials onto the Press Brake machine
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate dimensions and angles of bends
- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Press Brake machine setup and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Familiarity with using hand tools for assembly and adjustment purposes
- Experience with programming Press Brake machines is a plus
- Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers for precise measurements
- Crane and forklift operation experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of plasma cutting and laser cutting techniques is a plus
- European style would be a plus
SCHEDULE & PAY
- Monday - Friday
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- $19 - $20 to start DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
