A role within Corporate Security means working with a team dedicated to protecting the Target team, guests, property, and brand. You will use our comprehensive understanding and management of evolving security risks to protect our Target community throughout the world. You may support Target's Crisis and Threat Management, Preparedness and Continuity, Forensics, Intelligence, Physical Security and Safety, Executive Services, or Operations teams.
The primary focus of this position in Corporate Security is to monitor for ongoing threats to Target and generate situational awareness across the organization by utilizing established crisis response procedures. Through leveraging an array of internal and external resources, you'll analyze all-source information and make initial decisions on escalation based on established best practices. You'll also work collaboratively with Crisis Management Leadership to monitor, prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact Target.
- Researches, collects, and analyzes information and intelligence to prompt risk awareness & trend insights.
- Makes initial decisions on response and escalation for incidents and events that may impact core assets such as team members, guests, operations, facilities, reputation, and the communities served.
- Uses defined communication practices to provide credible, consistent, and timely threat detection and awareness for key enterprise partners.
- Works collaboratively with C3 Leadership and the Green Team to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact Target.
- Thinks critically to research, problem solve, and serve as a technical support for Leadership and the Green Team, communicating issue progress and resolution.
- Provides broader support to Crisis, Continuity, and Intelligence (CCI) programs such as Preparedness, Intelligence, Travel Security, and Business Continuity through operational readiness & exercise planning, trend identification & analysis, comprehensive risk assessments, and general intake work.
- Takes an active role in position related projects; levels of responsibility vary from consulting to owning projects.
- In office work expectations for timely crisis collaboration, response, and coordination efforts.

- 4 year degree preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant business experience
- Strong comfort and proficiency with computer applications and systems
