As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Technology Infrastructure group, you will play a crucial role in an agile team, focusing on the enhancement, construction, and delivery of top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your core technical contributions will involve developing vital technology solutions across a range of technical areas within diverse business functions, all in support of the firm's business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop Privilege Access Management solution that improve the security of Organization.
- Deploy and coordinate security solutions and provide level 3 support on day-to-day issues.
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Privilege Access Management domain(Tools like HashiCorp, CyberArk , Beyond trust etc).
- Strong experience with scripting language(like Powershell, javascript , python, terraform).
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Exposure to cloud based platform like AWS , Azure, GCP.
- Exposure to go programming language.
- Exposure to and/or experience with LDAP, Active Directory, ADFS
- Exposure to SIEM tools (like Qradar, Splunk)
High Risk Roles (HRR) are sensitive roles within the technology organization that require high assurance of the integrity of staff by virtue of 1) sensitive cybersecurity and technology functions they perform within systems or 2) information they receive regarding sensitive cybersecurity or technology matters. Users in these roles are subject to enhanced pre-hire screening which includes both criminal and credit background checks (as allowed by law).
