Knight Petroleum dba Jones Transport - a subsidiary of Jones Petroleum is looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated individual looking to assist in daily tasks as the Maintenance Division Dispatcher.
SUMMARY
This is highly responsible and detailed clerical work within a major maintenance division or department. Work involves distribution of information and messages by direct personal, written, two-way radio, or telephone contact.
An employee in this class has general responsibility for receiving, recording, and relaying work orders to appropriate maintenance sections or crews. Work is performed under general supervision according to established procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon requests for maintenance service or repair work from all JP affiliates. Includes gas equipment, construction and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Most maintenance request will come from an automated ticketing system. This person will need to sort and route work orders efficiently throughout the company.
- Maintains files on all specific, standing work orders and related information and documents within the ticketing system.
- Operates standard office equipment such as computers and copiers
- Assists in compiling reports related to the unit's activities.
- May interact with vendors in matters regarding supplies and materials.
- Performs related work as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of high school education and considerable experience in clerical work supplemented with some dispatching experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience."
