We are a substance abuse & mental health treatment facility. The ideal candidate will work directly with the Clinical Director to oversee our team of therapists and to offer support when needed. We are looking for someone who has a passion for helping individuals who struggle with mental health issues and substance use disorder and is dedicated to making a positive impact on their lives.
Education, License Requirements, and Qualifications:
Experience with KIPU EMR preferred
Masters degree in related field
LMHC License- REQUIRED
Trauma- EMDR Certified- preferred but not required
CSAT- preferred but not required
Job Duties:
Collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure the quality of care
Supervise clinical staff, including therapists and support personnel
Participating in the development of treatment plans
Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients.
Assist the Clinical Director with staff development
Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals.
Demonstrates knowledge of chemical dependency and addictions and utilizes knowledge and skills to access and meet the client’s treatment needs and requirements.
Documents on a regular basis within the electronic medical record
Facilitates team interaction for discharge planning regarding client chemical dependency issues.
Shares pertinent information with treatment team as obtained from client, client’s family members, or significant others.
Participates as a team member in all treatment team meetings and provides input regarding clients and chemical abuse and dependency treatment needs and requirements.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Provides pertinent client information based on chemical dependency evaluation, and group and individual session interactions, to assist in the client treatment process.
Acts as a liaison to community agencies providing chemical dependency and abuse services.
Collaborates with the medical staff to provide chemical dependency treatment services.
Stays updated on latest developments in substance abuse and mental health treatment
Demonstrates good communication skills.
