Form of work What You'll Need
* 4-6 years of progressive experience in month-end close process, review, and analysis
* BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or commensurate experience
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis
* Financial services, broker-dealer, software, and Fintech experience desired
* Experience in Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Public accounting experience is a plus.
What You'll Do
* Work cross-functionally with Finance, Business, Operations, and Technology to prepare and streamline month-end close journals to solve for scale and future effortlessness.
* Take ownership and accountability of cash and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Lead, implement, and execute process improvement and control procedures to facilitate efficient and accurate month-end close.
* Have a sense of urgency but maintain attention to detail while participating and representing the accounting team on strategic initiatives and special projects, prioritizing Market>Partner>DriveWealth>Self.
* Provide support for financial statement audits and tax
* Facilitate monthly liquidity and cash movements
