JCMG is looking for a Lead Patient Service Representative within our Family Medicine clinic.
Salary is based on experience.
Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match. Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
Normal working hours are Monday- Friday 7:30-4:30. However, hours could vary based on the needs of the departments.
Duties:
Directs daily activities and operations of the front office including office staff schedules.
Assists with the orientation, development, and evaluation of the reception staff.
Leads proactively and is a visionary who influences and mentors.
Knowledge of insurance process.
Participates in educational experiences designed to maintain competence.
Appropriately utilizes facility communication systems.
Effectively communicates with staff.
Performs functions essential to the billing process.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to check patients in and out for their clinic visit.
Provides appropriate safety and infection control measures.
Provides professional, quality customer service at all times.
Responsible for standard clinic mail operations.
Educate new hires within organization on check in process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school graduate or GED
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service setting, preferably six months of receptionist experience in a healthcare setting
Certification/License:
N/A
