Lead Material Handler (Sd Configuration)

Hourly Pay Rate: $27.50 - $33.50/hr.

Department: SD Configuration 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Some overtime may be required to fulfill job duties.

Position Purpose

Responsible for leading specific day-to-day activities within the shipping, inventory, small pack / E-store, Branded Rework and receiving functions to ensure that resources are available and that performance goals and requirements are met.
Collaborates with/Key Customers include daily operations.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Reviews shipping and receiving flow and insure inventory accuracy throughout the day to ensure proper resources are deployed to meet distribution requirements.
• Reviews and communicates customer requirements to ensure product is being shipped/received according to instructions.
• Communicates with corporate personnel regarding order status, compliance issues, and inventory status.
• Assists with tracking performance measures and other data.
• Ensures warehouse staff are at work stations on time as assigned.
• Communicates status of warehouse goals/standards and takes appropriate action.
• Conducts random quality control audits of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance.
• Train new hires
• Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel.
• Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues ( that require escalation).
• Builds strong relationships with peers, Managers, external departments, and customers to best meet company goals and objectives.
• Maintains professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.
• Partners with managers to develop annual budget forecasts, and achieve budgetary goals. 
• Develops and maintains written departmental standards and procedures.
• Directly contributes to development of tactical and annual operating plans, defining goals and objectives for the group.

Minimum Requirements:

Specialist or administrative experience of 2-5 years. 

Physical Requirements:

Carry/lift loads of Heavy (over 50 pounds)

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $27.50 and $33.50/hr. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
