The Position: The Senior Audio/Video technician is responsible for the installation, programming, troubleshooting, repair and customer training of our products. New products are added regularly and an eagerness to learn these new products and technologies is essential for success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate in a construction environment (New construction and retrofit required)
- Use of hand tools and power tools on a daily basis
- Low voltage cabling experience (pull, terminate, test)
- Prewire phase (cabling, backboxes and brackets)
- Trim phase (speakers, touch panels/keypads, etc.)
- Final phase (TVs, equipment racks, shades)
Advanced Skills:
- Universal Remote Control: Programming of URC, RTI, etc.
- Control system: Installation, basic configuration, and firmware upgrade (Crestron, Savant, or Control4)
- Lighting/Shading: Installation, basic configuration, and firmware upgrade (Crestron, Lutron, Progressive)
- Conference Room: Installation, basic configuration, and firmware upgrade (Crestron, Biamp, etc.)
- Network: Installation and configuration (routers, network switches, access points, DNS, DYN)
- CCTV: Installation and configuration
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Mush have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass NC Alarm Board background check
Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 – 3:30
Compensation:
- Salary Range (Hourly): $25 to $32/hr based on skills
