INTERN - MASTER DATA

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented college student to join our Master Data Management team in Paramus, New Jersey as a Customer Data Intern! Only actively enrolled college students will be considered.

Hours: 25 hours per week during normal office hours (normal office hours are Monday through Friday 9-5pm)
This is a PAID internship.

This is not a summer internship and will be semester-based.

The Master Data Intern will primarily collect, create, update, and delete customer/vendor/pricing MASTER DATA following the defined processes and policies. The Master Data Intern will be in constant communication with vendor, customer, and pricing data requesters as well as brand controllers and sales managers. The person filling this internship will work closely with the Master Data Management Analyst and Manager for MASTER DATA projects and regular day-to-day responsibilities. The Mater Data Intern will need to have a good understanding of how the business operates in order to determine how to best support those needs within the system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review applications to ensure all mandatory fields are completed
• Review initial requests for completeness
• Review that all the necessary approvals are included with each request
• Continuously update the “Application Status” tool
• Following up and maintaining pending items/emails with the requester
• Order credit reports
• RPSI (Restricted Party Screening Intelligence) check
• Follow through between sales team and CFS
• Scan new applications or documents/save the application to the proper drive for accurate record keeping
• Link the applications, notes or important documents to the MASTER DATA
• Multitask between MDM Global shared inboxes
• Assist the Master Data Management Analyst with department projects and/or data cleansing activities

Job Requirements:

• Must be a current college student, Business majors preferred
• Equipped with a can-do attitude and willing to learn new things
• Must be very organized, detail oriented and have great follow through skills
• Working knowledge of SAP a plus
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Must be a self-starter with high energy and strong work-ethic
• A positive attitude and a team player
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, with proficient Excel and Outlook skills
