What you'll doThe Lead AI Data Modeling Consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration and deployment of advanced language models using the DocuSign Insight platform, along with multiple supporting software artifacts, to devise, test and develop analytic powered results. These searches and models will be used by DocuSign (DS) customers to perform ad-hoc contract analyses in DS Insight or attribute enrichment in e-Discovery based analytic tools such as Relativity Automated Review, Equivio, Recommind, BrainSpace or other similar predictive coding software.
Candidates must possess fundamental knowledge of multiple ancillary concepts related to effectively delivering searches and models, including measuring the efficacy of information retrieval processes via precision, recall and F-score and deploying technology-based solutions such as near duplication and data normalization technology, email threading and other concepts related to contextual categorization.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Professional Services in North America.
Responsibility
- Own requirements gathering, solutioning design, configuration and deployment of DocuSign custom analytics to generate key data points from unstructured documents
- Collaborate with business leads across the company to plan and complete valuable analytics projects and product roadmaps
- Lead design sessions and ensure delivery of high quality work that aligns with product strategy
- Develop strong relationships with Services, Sales and Customer Success teams to support services sales
- Support Sales conversations with the Services Sales team as a legal and DocuSign AI subject matter expert
- Communicate with customers to outline business challenges and translate that into DS Insight functional and non-functional requirements for optimal solutioning, design and effort estimation
- Provide guidance as a legal subject matter expert to support the Product team's roadmap of DocuSign Analytics as needed
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bringBasic
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in an enterprise level software consulting or services sales role
- JD from ABA accredited institution and admission to at least one U.S. Jurisdiction with current licensing
- Experience with contract lifecycle management, contractual language, contract negotiation and playbooks
- Experience with electronic discovery "predictive coding" technologies including but not limited to Relativity Assisted Review (RAR), Catalyst, Ringtail or other applicable technologies
Preferred
- Fluency in contractual language and general terms used to describe legal commitments for enterprise grade agreements
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to business users without technical background
- Previous experience with model building, scoring and validation with DocuSign Insight platform
- Understanding of distributed data systems, Data Governance and Master Data Management concepts
- Knowledge of SaaS and cloud-based offerings
- Collaborative and open to support the team on deals, processes, and share skills of how to be most productive as an AI Data Modeling Consultant
- Self starter that initiates their own personal growth through independent learning of DocuSign's solution suite
- Excellent team building, verbal and written communication skills as well as reporting and presentation expertise
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $119,700 - $178,275 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $116,400 - $168,825 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $116,400 - $173,550 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
