Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Model data from Json XML to Relational tables expert experience with XQuery and Json querying in Postgres Snowflake Informatica experience
• Analyzing and translating business needs into longterm solution data models
• Evaluating existing data systems
• Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows
• Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system
• Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross compatibility
• Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models
• Updating and optimizing local and metadata models
• Evaluating implemented data systems for variances discrepancies and efficiency
• Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar
• 10+ years in an IT related role
• Strong technical skills in ER Modeling, ERWin Data Modeler Dimensional modeling

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000- $170,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
