SUMMARY: Keeps classrooms, office building, dormitories, and other school
properties in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
1. Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical
wiring, changing light bulbs, emptying trash cans, and other related maintenance
activities as assigned by your supervisor.
2. Move furniture and equipment to set up for school events.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and Maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
in normal situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
California Driver's License required.
Must be able to communicate in English.
