A Full-Service Business Law Firm is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to join our Land Use & Real Estate Practice Group. This successful candidate will work closely with our Land Use & Real Estate practice group to support clients with Land Use, zoning, environmental matters, mining, solar, renewables, permitting, licensing, and other regulatory matters. This candidate will possess two to five years of prior experience in Land Use and/or Real Estate matters and be admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota.A Full-Service Business Law Firm is motivated to attract and retain talented and diverse professionals into our growing firm and is committed to training and professional development. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of legal matters and represent clients before local government in Minnesota and Wisconsin including environmental, Land Use, zoning, public finance, and urban redevelopment & historic preservation.
- Conduct legal research and analyze contracts, statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, and other codes and regulations to prepare legal documents and provide sound legal advice.
- Attend evening municipal meetings during the week.
Education and/or Experience:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited United State law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
- Efficient and concise research and writing skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with two to five years of experience and a demonstrated ability to handle a variety of legal matters in the areas of environmental law, Land Use, zoning, mining, urban redevelopment & historic preservation, agricultural law, municipal government and regulation, and Land Use planning and related matters.
