Form of workPermian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Systems Analyst. Reporting to the Manager of Applications and PMO, the incumbent will provide application support for the Land Department. This position is located in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, organizational skills and be able to effectively collaborate and communicate throughout the entire company.
General Responsibilities
- Leads and coordinates project activities and routine application support with stakeholders in IT and the Land business community.
- Works closely with vendor(s) to log software defects, enhancement requests, upgrade/hot fix testing and deployments.
- Work closely with IT’s Infrastructure team for successful application installations and upgrades
- Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems to ensure alignment with business processes and needs.
- Possess expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as an understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities.
- Assist in designing business processes and create documentation for new technology.
- Educate the IT organization on the direction of the business.
- Adhere to SOX application controls and work closely with the Internal Controls Manager to provide SOX deliverables.
- Translate high level business requirements into functional, technical specifications for the IT organization, and manage/communicate any changes to said specifications.
- Provide end user support and training when needed.
Qualifications
- Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.
- Proven experience working in and/or supporting Land teams.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent experience.
- Specific knowledge of Quorum Land (QLS) system, experience with Dynamic Docs a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Self-motivated, strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits Information:
- Salary range is approximately $80,000 - $100,000, depending on specific experience*
- Other forms of compensation for this position include:
- Target bonus of 15% of base salary and any eligible overtime wages (discretionary based on company and individual performance)
