Overview
The responsibilities of the IT System Analyst - O9 are to support the development and deployment of O9 Planning initiatives throughout the global organization, including configuration, testing and communication with customers and vendors. This role is responsible for solution delivery, analysis, and interpretation of data to assist the customer in rapid decision-making and optimizing their product development and product execution processes. The solution delivery is through various activities, including design input, data analytics, configuration, deployment, and knowledge management as well as understanding of integration with other platforms. This person would be responsible for participating in requirement and design sessions with the customer, assisting with business impact case studies, working with system vendor as needed to configure the solution and ownership of daily customer support and resolution management.
What You'll Do
• Support Business Users
o Field support request and assist users with executing their in-system roles,
o Train new users on system functionality,
o Manage user permissions to ensure users have appropriate access,
• Resolve Issues
o Collect issues from users, determine root causes, and work with the engineering team to resolve issues,
o Test any changes to configuration prior to deployment to ensure the original issue is resolved,
o Update documentation and train users on any changes to system functionality,
o Work with the engineering team to identify and execute workarounds until root causes are remedied,
• Lead System Enhancements
o Collect enhancement request from users, document business requirements, and work with the engineering team to deploy enhancements,
o Communicate requirements to the engineering team and work with them to design solutions that meet the business requirements,
o Work with additional cross-functional teams to satisfy requirements outside of the scope of the engineering team,
o Update documentation and train users on updated system functionality.
• Manage Data
o Track inbound data to ensure users are working with quality data,
o Manage outbound data to ensure data it's accurate and timely,
o Manage data documentation to ensure it accurately reflects the current state of inbound and outbound data,
o Coordinate with data engineering and other systems to resolve issues with inbound or outbound data,
o Coordinate with data engineering and other systems to source new data feeds.
What You'll Bring to the Table
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant technical field,
• 8+ years working on technical systems as either an analyst or part of a technical product team,
• Strong analytical capabilities and communications skills,
• Working understanding of at least one coding language, SQL experience preferred,
• Experience successfully communicating business requirements to technical teams,
• Experience working on an agile team and writing agile user stories,
• Experience working in a retail environment, ideally in supply chain, merchandizing, or planning,
• Experience modeling data and working with data engineers to source data,
