Description:
Working under the supervision of a Food Technologist assisting in daily activities.
Prepare beverage samples for tastings and shipping to internal and/or external clients.
Assist in filling and processing of beverages.
Prepare documents (CoA, SDS) for sample shipments.
Keep work area/lab neat and organized.
Keep lab stocked with materials as needed.
Maintain records for easy retrieval and clarity.
Qualifications:
Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science Bachelors' degree required.
Preferably fresh out of college, or with under 5 years experience.
Chemistry background or chemistry/food based lab experience.
Creativity, the ability to pivot when needed, and the confidence to ask questions when uncertain.
Able to multi-task and is highly-organized.
Work with minimal supervision and detail oriented.
Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
