SalaryChampionX is seeking a Lab Technician in our Production Chemical Technologies – RD&E Flow Assurance Group located in Sugar Land, Texas to support both business and customer needs. The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing and maintaining various Flow Assurance testing equipment that support customer requests and innovation projects. What You Will Do:
- Perform work in a safe manner while identifying opportunities for improving safety.
- Maintain a clean laboratory environment.
- Follow and perform routine test method procedures to support the Flow Assurance team on field qualifications.
- Work effectively in a team environment with cross-functional members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Laboratory technician or closely related experience
- An associate degree or course work in a related field (e.g. Lab Technician programs, college coursework in science, technology, engineering or mathematics) may substitute for some experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Mechanical skills
