Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, responsible for fabrication and repair of dental/fixed removable prostheses, filling casts, vacuum forming or laminating, establishing initial trims and other functions.
Job Duties:
- Fabricates, alters, and repairs dental devices such as dentures, crowns, bridges, inlays, and appliances for straightening teeth.
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of the Dental Laboratory equipment in his/her immediate area.
- Responsible for maintaining supplies at appropriate levels and reporting shortages to the laboratory supervisor.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
One (1) year of experience in a dental prosthetic lab is required
Additional Licenses and Certifications:
Eligible for certification as a Certified Dental Technician by the National Board of Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology.
