Konica and Ricoh Print Operator

Digital Print Operator for Xerox, Ricoh and Blueprint Machine
The main responsibility of the Key Operator is to operate and complete all digital printing (B&W/Color) production for maximum production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Schedules workflow with Production Scheduler
• Produces orders accurately, efficiently, and quickly while maintaining highest quality standards
• Updates job status and location in Point-of-Sale system
• Always runs a proof copy and compares it to the work order
• Controls waste and redo jobs by quality checking jobs as they are being produced
• Completes Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobs
• Tracks waste, spoilage, usage, and inventory for all digital printing machines
• Maintains all Digital Printing Equipment logs
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment
• Quotes standard turnaround time for all incoming jobs
• Performs all required maintenance, learns extended maintenance from the technician
• Ensures that all service clicks are credited by service technician in each call, including credit for poor quality copies
• Performs daily quality checks on self-serve copiers and creates a Todays Copy Quality sample for each self-serve machine
• Calibrates all color devices as required to maintain color consistency
• Monitors color consistency during all print runs and adjusts as necessary
• Is proficient with the use of Command Workstation (if applicable) to control digital workflow
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Digital printing experience preferred
• Ability to organize several activities at the same time
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, if needed
• Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment
• Can perform basic bindery functions
• Can serve as a backup to customer service and/or front counter when needed

Job Type:

• Full-time hours are 8:00am 5:30pm, Monday Friday
