Sierra Vista is a very affordable community located an hour and fifteen minutes southeast of Tucson. The club is owned by Castle & Cooke, one of the leading homebuilders in the southwest United States.
```Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Ensure that food is prepared and served according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Train new kitchen staff on proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Enforce health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Handle customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a golf course setting
- Shift management experience
