Position Summary
We are hiring for an enthusiastic and strong leader, to take on the role of Kitchen Supervisor for our newest location located in Penfield, NY. This leader will be experienced in leading a diverse team of kitchen crew members and will support current Management. This individual will also be knowledgeable in kitchen processes & protocols. An ideal candidate will act as a brand ambassador for Bar-Bill Tavern.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a positive and productive working environment by taking an active role in leading and developing staff and making decisions for your team
- Manage and strive to achieve all company objectives in food consistency & quality, employee retention and cleanliness & sanitation
- Continuous development of employee processes
- Effectively manage all staffing and scheduling for the kitchen, ensuring proper staffing levels are met all all times of year
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to the health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
- This position will directly report to the General Manager
Requirements
- 2+ years of management & leadership in a high-volume restaurant
- 3+ years of kitchen experience
- Passion for leading a team of people in the hospitality industry & acting as an extension of the overall Bar-Bill brand
- Reliable transportation
Skills/Qualifications
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Restaurant certifications a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
